Amber is a psychologist who takes an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and positive behaviour support.
She works with a wide range of client needs, including mental health, disability, and professional athletic performance. With children, adolescents, and young adults, Amber works collaboratively to address challenges, achieve goals, and improve overall well-being.
Amber has a strong passion for performance psychology and for helping individuals develop the skills and confidence to reach their potential across sport, study, and life. She also has a particular interest in supporting underrepresented groups to achieve independence, personal growth, and meaningful community involvement.
Alongside her private practice, Amber is a performance psychologist at the Victorian Institute of Sport, where she supports athletes in triathlon, netball development, wheelchair basketball, basketball, and badminton. She is also the lead psychologist for the Australian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Team, working to enhance performance and success on the international stage.
